Welcome to “Downtown – 14”

  • Sunnyside
  • Weller
  • Alwington

There are many things to see and do in downtown Kingston. Enjoy Springer Market Square for Spring movie nights; Summer and Fall farmers market; and skating in the winter. From long established Greek and Italian restaurants to chains, “The Hub” is home to over 40 restaurants. Whether you would like a nice light lunch or enjoy the experience of fine dining it is all here! In front of City Hall is our beautiful Kingston Harbour and Confederation Basin. Many people boat in from all over the Thousands Islands to moor and take advantage of our fair city. Click on the ‘Visit Kingston Facebook’ page in the right column to see what is happening while you are in the City.

Military Score 7/10

Military Density

This area is not as popular to the military because of the high level of traffic generated year round by Tourism, Queen’s University Student population, and our hospitals. This area also lacks some core amenities.

Have you ever taken a look back over your life and realized that the pieces just fell into place to create what you are doing right now? I never really gave it much thought but when I take a look back to my interior design days, retail and manufacturing businesses and building houses – it just seemed to lead me to the perfect place I am right now. Becoming a realtor was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

Building houses and decks or helping with landscaping over the years with my parents was the easiest way for me to hone skills that at the time I didn’t realize I would use later. I headed off to college straight from High School and ended up staying in the Kitchener area for six years before returning back home. When my parents offered to put me through the Real Estate College I jumped on it!
